Septic Tank Pumping & Cleaning in Mansfield, Tarrant County

Pumping older Mansfield tanks is as much an inspection opportunity as a service, because a tank of that age tells you a great deal once it is empty.

An empty tank is the only time anyone can properly see its condition. On the 1990s systems around the south side we look at the concrete, the inlet and outlet baffles and any sign that solids have been escaping. Those are the things that decide whether a system has years left or a problem developing.

Baffles are the component that matters most and gets the least attention. Their job is to stop solids and floating scum leaving the tank. When one fails, solids head for the spray field, and that damage accumulates quietly.

What We Look At While the Tank Is Empty

We check the inlet and outlet baffles, the tank walls and lid for cracking or spalling, the level of the outlet relative to the inlet, and whether there is evidence of solids having carried through. On an aerobic system we also look at the condition of the compartments and the air distribution.

You get told what we found either way. If a thirty-year-old tank is in good condition, that is genuinely useful to know, and it is a common outcome. Concrete tanks are durable, and age alone is not a fault.

What Do Customers Say About Our Septic Services?

We’re rated 4.9 on Google ★★★★★.

Great company. Got here quickly on July 4th weekend which was great. Fair price and excellent service. Explained things pumped tanks replaced aerator pump and found a fitting on aerator loose and are fixing that at no cost. They wanted to make sure everything is in working order. Definitely recommend them!

The Service technicians are always on site when they say they will be and work hard to get the job done right the 1st time. We look forward to our continued working relationship!

These people stepped up when I was out of hope and exhausted. True Christians that cared, showed mercy, compassion, and went to work to do a job well done by their crew members. A female owned business. I can never thank them enough for everything they did for me. I love y'all & thank you!

Frequently Asked Questions

How often does a Mansfield septic tank need pumping?

Conventional tanks generally every two to three years, aerobic systems every three to five. Older systems with deteriorating baffles sometimes need it more often, and we will tell you if yours is in that category.

Can you tell how much life is left in an old tank?

We can assess its condition once it is empty, which is the only time it can properly be seen. Concrete tanks are durable and many 1990s tanks are still in good order. Baffle condition is usually the deciding factor.

What is a baffle and why does it matter?

Baffles at the tank inlet and outlet stop solids and floating scum from leaving with the effluent. If one fails, solids travel toward the drainfield or spray field, which causes damage that is expensive to reverse.
